Mission Statement

The Theology Department leads each student to experience in heart and mind a living faith in our Lord Jesus Christ in the context of the Roman Catholic tradition. 

Academic Requirements

All students are required to take 8 semesters of Theology towards graduation.  The progression of courses, all of which are semester courses, is as follows:

Freshmen: Introduction to the Community of Faith / The Revelation of Jesus Christ in Scripture / Who Is Jesus Christ
Sophomore:  The Mission of Jesus Christ (The Paschal Mystery)/ Life in Jesus Christ (Morality)
Junior: Jesus Christ's Mission Continues in the Church (Ecclesiology) / Sacraments as Privileged Encounters with Christ
Senior: Living as a Disciple of Jesus Christ in Society (Social Justice) / Ecumenical and Inter-religious Issues

In the International Baccalaureate Program, Theory of Knowledge (TOK) will be taught by a member of the Theology Department.
