Dear Parents/Guardians:

Secure online credit card payments can be made online into your students meal account from your home computer. The MealTime Online website is located www.mymealtime.com.

Please enter your students 5 digit Student ID number to set up an account. This student number is used initially, at which time you will be prompted to assign a secure password for future access. The 6 digit student ID number can be obtained from the food service office or from the school office.

For your protection, MealTime Online uses the most current security components available in the banking industry. All data transmitted is encrypted and authenticated every time you use the website. Your credit card information is used only to process your deposit and is never stored on any website computer. For each deposit, you will receive an on screen receipt to print and an email to verify the deposit. Currently, only Visa or MasterCard credit cards are accepted. The minimum deposit is $25.00. There is a service fee. It takes 24-48 hours to update account information and for your deposit to be posted.

You can also set up a profile through MealTime Online if you would like to track meal purchases on a daily basis and view lunch activity (under “details.”) You do not need to use the credit card deposit feature to set up an account to monitor lunch account balances.

Meal Time FAQ's

Q: What is Meal Time?
A: Meal Time is a POS (point of sale) software system utilized by many school districts to streamline the foodservice operation.

Q: How do I add money to my student’s account?
A: There are two ways to add funds to an account:

1. Go to www.mymealtime.com and set up your online profile. The ID number required for the profile is the same 5-digit ID number issued by Cathedral High School.
2. You may send a check into the school.

Q: To whom should the check be written?
A: Cathedral High School

Q: Where should my child drop off his/her check?
A: Please drop off checks to the Business offce by 10:00am.

Q: Can my child give a check to the cashiers during lunch?
A: No, please drop off checks in the Business Office.

Q: How can I be sure that my check will be applied to my student’s account?
A: It is always good practice to write your student’s LEGAL name in the memo line of your check. This is especially important if your child has a nickname or a different last name.

Q: If I add funds online (using a credit card), is there a service fee?
A: Yes, there is a 4.9% service fee that is charged by Meal Time.

Q: I just sent in money, where did it go?
A: This question should first be asked of your student. If you feel that a mistake has been made regarding your student’s account, please contact the Foodservice Director.

Q: I think that another student has used my child’s ID card. What can I do?
A: You should first speak with your child and if he/she can confirm that the ID card has been used incorrectly, contact the Foodservice Office.

Q: I do not want my child to use his/her Meal Time account – what can I do?
A: You may call the Foodservice Office and request that your student’s account be changed from “Active” status to “Inactive.” This will prevent any transactions from taking place.

Q: Why should my child use his/her Meal Time account? I want him/her to use cash.
A: Using the Meal Time account during lunch dramatically speeds up the process of paying for food and allows more time for your student to relax and enjoy his/her lunch.

Q: I added money to my student’s accout this morning online. Why didn’t the money appear in his/her account at lunch time?
A: Online transactions require 1-2 business days to complete. Please allow enough time for the funds to appear in the account. You may also send cash or a check with your student as a backup plan.
