Horse Club

Club Description:
The Cathedral Horse Club’s purpose is to share in the love of horses, make friends, and enjoy activities that revolve around horses. This group typically meets once or twice a month depending on the weather. Some activities that the Horse Club participates in include riding the trails at Fort Harrison State Park, visiting various barns in the area and riding and grooming their horses, learning how a farrier trims horse’s feet, attending the Hoosier Horse Fair, learning how to assist disabled riders at Agape Therapeutic Riding Stables, and playing with newborn baby foals at a local barn. Some members have learned to ride their first horse by being in this club! The Horse Club designs a new t-shirt and sweatshirt every year, which usually costs about $10-$20. Trail riding at Fort Harrison is $20 per ride, and Hoosier Horse Fair tickets cost $12. All other activities are free! Students do not have to own a horse to be in the club!
