Mobile Device Management Solution: 

Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, we will be using Filewave as our mobile device management. This means all sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be moved away from Mobile Iron (our previous MDM) and will begin using Filewave. 

Filewave allows Cathedral to manage your child's iPad. It allows us to enable printing, push out applications, update software and more. 

Incoming Freshman -- What you need to know: 

Beginning with the class of 2021, all new student iPads will be required to have a Filewave image installed. This process will take place during freshman Onboarding

During the Filewave set-up process:

  • All data will be removed from the iPad 
  • The iPad will be updated to the latest public iOS version
  • Profiles will be installed which will allow Cathedral to manage the iPad 

Once the imaging process is complete, you will be able to sign into your Apple account and use the iPad as normal.
