Dr. Greer and the Schorr family will be organizing this Mission to Hagerhill, KY. We will be assisting in the efforts of the Priarist School Mission. Please read a little about the history of the Priarist Priest and their mission.

During the spring of 1988, two Piarist priests were sent to work in Eastern Kentucky.  The Piarist priests dedicated their lives to the education of youth.  In August of 1990 the Piarist fathers founded the Piarist School in Hagerhill, Kentucky.

The Piarist Mission is to provide a college preparatory education, involving the development of an educational community and promotes spiritual growth of the students.  This Catholic school is tuition free and dependent on the charitable contributions of God's people.  Currently the school has 76 students, ranging from seventh grade to twelfth grade.

One other important program the Piarist School has is their outreach to the poor.  They aid people in five counties around the school.  The success of their outreach is dependent on financial assistance and labor assistance from volunteers around the country.  Much work has been done, but there is still much to do.
